Our house is a non-smoking house.
For the sake of the environment, the community of Bach is very precise with regards to waste separation. Plastic, paper, cardboard, glass, aluminium and compost have to be strictly separated. Herefore you will find different waste containers. Residual waste should only be a very small portion of the daily garbage.
No pets are allowed in our house.
All stoves in the house are heat storage stoves. These may only be used once a day and then they store the heat for at least 12 hours. If people heat the stoves too often or add more wooden logs onto them once they are lit, they can overheat and the stoves could even be damaged so badly that they would then be beyond repair. Please read the operating instruction very carefully.
We have underfloor heating throughout the house and pleasantly warm parquet floors or natural stone floors. Please take off your shoes in the house.
There is an ATM at the village square in Bach. In the neighbouring village of Elbigenalp there is a Raiffeisen bank and a savings bank.

The Wally App is a great travel companion for visitors to the Lechtal. It provides useful information and helps visitors to use their Guest Cards or Lechtal Aktiv Cards during their stays

Lechtal Sports directly on the village square in Bach offers bike rental and service in summer. In winter they service and rent skis, snowboards, toboggans, cross-country skiing equipment, snowshoes and ski touring equipment.
If you travel to Reutte by train, the onward journey to Bach by bus is free of charge after showing your booking confirmation.

There are two small grocery stores in the village, one of them has a post office. There are two large supermarkets in the neighbouring village of Elbigenalp.
Regional products are available from the Lechtaler Nuturkäserei Sojer in Steeg and Lechtaler Haussegen in Elbigenalp sells fine spirits.
On request, the baker will deliver fresh bread to your door in the early morning.
